Terms
The service
CoverCurrent helps you keep a list of vendor certificates of insurance, send expiry reminders to the vendor and their insurance agent, send you a Monday morning digest plus an immediate status alert when a cert is 7 days out or expired, and collect a replacement file through a magic link. You are not copied on vendor follow-ups. We do not issue insurance, sell coverage, or tell you whether a certificate is adequate for a job, a lease, or a lender. You make the coverage call. We make sure a current certificate is in front of you when you do.
Who may use it
You must be using this for a business (property management, contracting, or similar) and have authority to give us your vendor and insurance-agent contact list. You are responsible for the accuracy of names, emails, and dates you send us.
Price and billing
The price is $25 per month, billed in advance, cancel anytime. The price is locked for your account. We will email you before any increase, with a chance to cancel first.
Payment is processed by Polar (or another processor we name at checkout). Cancel from the billing receipt or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops the next charge. It does not refund time already used, except as described on the refund page and in the service commitment below.
Onboarding
Send your list any time after you subscribe: spreadsheet, CSV, or even a screenshot. We import it and email you the full status of your book within one business day. We validate emails on import and flag bad addresses back to you.
Service commitment
Every vendor on the imported list gets a reminder at 30, 14, and 7 days, then daily from day 6 through expiry, then daily after expiry until the certificate lands or you mark it resolved. Reminders go to the vendor and their insurance agent when that email is on the list. You are not copied on those follow-ups.
If CoverCurrent misses a scheduled reminder for a vendor whose email and expiry date were on the imported list, that month is free.
30-day refund
Try it for 30 days. If it is not off your plate, email us and we will refund the month. No form, no reason needed. See the refund page.
What a notice does not cover
A sent reminder is not the same as a vendor acting on it. Email can land in spam. A vendor or agent can ignore the message. A certificate can be wrong, incomplete, or already expired when we receive it. You remain responsible for stop-work decisions, site access, work orders, and whether a vendor may work.
Expiry dates come from your spreadsheet and from what you or the vendor provide when they upload a replacement. Always confirm a date against the certificate itself.
Your content and vendor emails
You grant us permission to store vendor data and certificate files and to email the vendor and insurance-agent contacts on your list for this purpose only. Do not upload files you have no right to store. Magic links are for the intended vendor; do not publish them.
Acceptable use
Do not use CoverCurrent to spam people who are not your vendors or their agents, to break the law, or to probe, disrupt, or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does.
No professional advice
Nothing on the site or in a reminder is legal, insurance, or safety advice. A COI is a snapshot someone sent you. Read it. If you need coverage confirmed, talk to your broker or the carrier.
Availability
We aim to send the reminders in the service commitment and to send you the 7-day and expired alerts plus the Monday digest. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime, and we are not liable for a missed reminder caused by mail filters, bad addresses, or an outage we did not cause. If we simply fail to run a scheduled reminder we promised, that month is free, as stated above.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, CoverCurrent is not liable for lost profits, stop-work costs, denied claims, audit findings, or indirect damages. The 30-day refund is as described on the refund page. For other claims, our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim, excluding any 30-day refund already paid. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, the limit is the minimum the law requires.
Indemnity
If a vendor, an agent, or a third party complains because you put their email on the list or because you relied on a cert we stored, you will handle that dispute. We will handle disputes about our own billing and our own failure to send a reminder we accepted payment to send.
Law
CoverCurrent operates this service. Questions go to [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If a piece of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Material changes will also go out by email when we have your address. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel.
